RESERVATION, CONFIRMATION, PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICIES

When quoting, customers can ask for reservations and we will verify again for available spaces in land services and Galapagos cruises, before sending you the confirmation.
To confirm the services it is necessary to send:
  • Passengers full name
  • Date of Birth
  • Passengers passport number and nationality
  • Arriving and departing dates
  • Any food request
  • 20% deposit: 7 days after the confirmation for Ecuador and Galapagos Cruises (some cruises requests 30% to 50% payment, for such cases, Maritetour will advise you in advanced)
  • 50% deposit: 7 days after the confirmation for Island Hopping Programs to guarantee the navigable daily tour excursions and hotels.
  • 100% payment: 60 days before, in case of services including the Galapagos Islands
  • 100% payment: 30 days for land services
  • 100% payment: 3 days for last minute options.
Period before departure within which notice of cancellation is received by us in writing: Mainland Services
  • 20%: the confirmation deposit is not refundable
  • 50%: between 29 and 16 days before starting the program
  • 100%: between 15 days or less.
*Remark for mainland activities:
  1. -Activities are subject to modification due to: availability, weather conditions or major forces that could affect passenger safety.
  2. -For any physical demanded activity during the tour, it shall under passengers responsibility.
Galapagos Services
  • 100%: 60 days or less.
*Remark for Galapagos activities:
  1. -The daily boat trips are subject to availability, weather conditions and Galapagos National Park authorizations. Possible places to visit: Bartolomé, North Seymour, South Plazas, Isabela, Floreana and Santa Fe.
  2. -The itineraries are subject to change without previous advice, due to weather conditions, Galapagos National Park authorizations, operational issues or passenger safety.
  3. -For any physical demanded activity during the tour, it shall under passengers responsibility.
